The fertile, water rich ancestral lands of the people of Wakatū and Ngāti Rārua Ātiawa Iwi can be found on the plains formed and sustained by the Motueka River as it flows towards Tasman Bay at the top of the South Island. The rich nutrients of our lands, combined with water from the heavens and warmth from Rangi, the Sky Father, create an abundant supply of luscious fruits.
Ngātahi Horticulture is a joint venture with Ngāti Rārua Ātiaiwa Iwi Trust, and is custodian of this land. Ngātahi is committed to the sustainable production of fruit, grown to the specific requirements of our global markets. The company currently exports kiwifruit, apples and pears.
