About the Marlborough Sounds

Nestled in the top of the South Island of New Zealand, reaching into the Pacific Ocean is the natural wonder, the Marlborough Sounds. The area encompasses three main bodies of water, the Queen Charlotte, Kenepuru and Pelorus Sounds.
The Sounds are a recreational haven, where people enjoy fishing, boating, cruising, sailing, tramping (The Queen Charlotte Walkway) paddling and even skydiving. Or just hiding away in total peace and quiet in one of the many remote bays.

All of KONO mussels are lovingly farm raised in the pristine waters of the Marlborough Sounds. When you come to know the Marlborough Sounds you will understand exactly why KONO mussels taste so good!

Further enhance the sensory experience with KONO Sauvignon Blanc, also grown and made in the Marlborough region.
