KONO fruit logo is designed as patiki, a diamond shape. It represents the balance we must maintain with the land as its guardians.
In the centre is Motueka River nurturing our land as it flows towards Tasman Bay.
The second element on the right hand side of the logo is a series of three koru, or spirals.
The koru are the major design found throughout Maori imagery. These koru symbolize growth and abundant harvests from our land.
The third element on the left of the logo is the sacred colour of mother earth – red ochre. The triangle patterns are a sign of authority. They pay tribute to the surrounding hills and mountains, which feed our river.
